When I was considering different realtors to work with when I decided to sell my condo I knew I would have to speak with a couple before I knew the kind of individual I wanted to work with. I interviewed four different realtors in order to conclude that Joel Carcone was the right person for the job. Although most of the agents I spoke with seemed competent enough Joel had all of the characteristics I was looking for.
He was very knowledgeable about the area (Lonsdale). He had his finger on the pulse of the current market. He was very straightforward about any cost/benefit analysis when it came to the benefits of doing certain work to the property before listing it. He did not insist on dictating a list price but rather we were able to work out the pros and cons of listing at different prices and the benefits and consequences of listing at those respective prices.
When the property was listed (which occurred almost instantaneously once we gave it the green light) Joel showed a good balance of intensity towards the sale and calmness with respect to fielding the different queries that arose. His communication during the negotiation process was instantaneous and positive while at the same time staying analytical about our initial goal for the property.
